About Us

Sing along at GoddardAt Goddard/Homestead we still live by our century old mission of service and caring. Originally founded as the Home For Aged Men, Goddard House has undergone many transformations over the years. Most recently the stately main home was converted from the former boarding house style to high-style private residences for those who wish to live independently, within a vibrant community. An additional eighteen units were added a few years later when Buckley Hall was conjoined to the main building. Living accommodations in our nicely appointed units include both one and two bedroom models. From the common spaces replete with antiques and fine furnishings to daily chef prepared meals in our dining room, our residents experience all the best that we have to offer each and every day. Our amenities include on-site and off-site activities, housekeeping staff, on-site hairdresser, and even snow removal and car cleaning in the winter months. These are but a few examples of the inclusive lifestyle at Goddard House.

Activities at Homestead HallOur sister property, Homestead Hall, was added to our continuum of care in 1982. The level of service and attention to detail, that Goddard House is famous for, carries through to Homestead Hall with the added benefit of rest home level care for residents that need a bit more supervision. The property is nestled on a quiet hill in Worcester and offers a beautiful park like view and outdoor experience. Our pleasant and caring staff at Homestead Hall provides residents with the highest quality care in a home like setting. Residents may furnish their room with a favorite chair, their own bed and treasured mementos, all adding to the homey feel. Each room also includes a private half-bath. A seasonal menu of chef prepared meals, on-site and off-site activities along with an on-site hairdresser and many other amenities make Homestead Hall the perfect choice for elders who need a bit more care.
